Backup apps come and go, and most of us, once we find one that works well, stick with it. I can’t remember why I decided to move on from this one, but once I found out I could create bootable clones with the likes of SuperDuper! and Carbon Copy Cloner, other backups became passé. The Mac backup utility I’m referring to is called Déjà Vu and it’s been around since the early 2,000s. What sets it apart from most backup apps is where it lives.
